The Sentinel HDi90 Dehumidifier is ideal for crawlspaces, cellars and basements when condensate needs to be pumped out from low levels or where drainage is not available. It is robust, compact and versatile.

The main benefits for all the Sentinel range is that the machines can be controlled remotely. A controller plugs into the unit via a Cat 5 cable. The controller displays the temperature and humidity in the environment that is being controlled.

How It Works

This dehumidifier is an effective solution to environmental control problems. This unit is of high capacity which can operate at high efficiency to remove moisture from the air through the refrigeration process. The high efficiency rotary compressor ensures the maximum extraction with the lowest running costs. This Unit is designed especially for small spaces that need low level noise and a great COP. The Sentinel HDi90 supplements the air conditioning system in the summer time and maintains humidity levels balanced of the year.

Installation flexibility makes the unit ideal for almost any application. No conventional dehumidifier can perform as efficiently and effectively than this model. The remote humidistat design makes this unit an ideal choice for places where remote sensing and controlling is required.

Two Mode Operation

The machine can be operated in two modes. Both the controller and the HD55 unit have a Humidistat in them and you can set the controller to work from either humidistat.

Mode One: Controlling on the Humidistat.

In this mode you could have your machine in the basement and control the humidity and monitor your basement conditions on the remote control unit which could be in a different room above the basement. You can alter the RH from the comfort of your living room!

Mode Two: Controlling on the remote control Humidistat.

In this mode you could have your dehumidifier outside the room space you want to control and duct the air to the room. This would work in a similar way to your central heating system and thermostat as you don’t have your boiler in the room (it is remote) but you want to control the temperature in the room via your thermostat.

Condensate is removed via a holding tank and pump which can operate up to 4.5m head. Standard protection incorporates a tank full switch to protect your work space in the event of a blockage in the condensate pipework.
