When foliar feeding, nutrients move through a plant at a rate of about 0.3 m/hr to all parts of the plants with 65% being absorbed within 30 minutes and all of the nutrients being absorbed within 24 hours. This increases microbial activity around the root zone, which in turn enhances the uptake of nutrients by the plant.
